Caitlin Roe

(Registered Physiotherapist)

Caitlin is a physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Master of Physiotherapy program in 2022, having previously completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2019. She developed a passion for rehabilitation at a young age while competing in various sports, including alpine ski racing, soccer, and rowing. She discovered the physiotherapy profession through her own sports injuries and made it her dream career.

This experience gave her a deep understanding of the frustration caused by injuries and inspired her to help others return to the activities they love, regardless of their skill level.

Caitlin strives to truly understand what motivates you, bringing empathy and compassion to her practice. She combines targeted exercises with a hands-on manual therapy approach. She is a strong believer in evidence-based practice and stays up to date with the latest research. Caitlin views education as empowering and makes a concerted effort to inform and involve her patients, placing them at the heart of their recovery journey.

Caitlin has completed Part 1 of the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) training—specifically the Lumbar Spine module (The McKenzie Institute Canada)—to enhance her diagnostic and treatment skills for lower back pain.

Caitlin recognizes the importance of feeling comfortable expressing oneself in one’s native language. As she is bilingual and completed her studies in French, she is delighted to offer treatment to both English- and French-speaking patients.

In her spare time, she loves skiing, cycling, and playing soccer. She also enjoys reading, painting, singing, and playing the guitar.
