Kirsten Recoskie
(Registered Physiotherapist)
Kirsten is a Registered Physiotherapist originally from the Ottawa Valley. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, where she worked as a Student Trainer with the Gee-Gees varsity women’s hockey team. This experience allowed her to work closely with athletes and sparked her interest in sports rehabilitation. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University and has since continued to advance her clinical skills through the completion of the Orthopaedic Division’s AIM Level 1 course.
Kirsten believes in an active, individualized approach to rehabilitation, using a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and education to help clients move with confidence and get back to doing what they love.
Outside of the clinic, Kirsten leads an active and adventurous lifestyle with a strong passion for movement, health, and fitness. With a background in sport and strength training, she values the role of movement in building strength, improving performance, and supporting overall well-being. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, bringing an additional perspective on movement and body awareness to her physiotherapy practice. Her background as a certified Pilates instructor further complements her approach to rehabilitation, with an emphasis on strength, stability, and functional movement. In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys playing hockey, skiing, hiking, golfing, and exploring the outdoors.
