Her professional journey began in Beirut, Lebanon, where she worked in both hospital and private clinical settings, gaining valuable experience in the management of a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. Early in her career, she also practiced within a multidisciplinary polyclinic environment, where she managed her own patient caseload and private practice, further developing her expertise in comprehensive patient care, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. These formative experiences laid the foundation for the holistic and patient-centered approach that continues to define her practice today.

Combining her background in physiotherapy and osteopathy, Vanessa takes an integrated approach to care that focuses not only on treating symptoms but also on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of dysfunction. She believes that effective treatment begins with a thorough understanding of each individual’s unique health history, lifestyle, and goals. Through detailed assessment and personalized treatment planning, she helps patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve lasting results.

Over the years, Vanessa has developed particular expertise in the management of complex and persistent conditions, including fibromyalgia, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, postural dysfunctions, chronic pain syndromes, and spinal conditions. Her clinical focus is centered on helping patients return to their daily activities with greater confidence, comfort, and independence.

Throughout her career, Vanessa has practiced in diverse healthcare environments and worked with patients from a broad range of professional and cultural backgrounds. During her two and a half years in Kuwait, she worked closely with the powerlifting and strength-training community, acquiring specialized knowledge of barbell biomechanics, repetitive loading patterns, injury prevention, and performance optimization. This experience gave her a unique understanding of the physical demands associated with strength sports and recreational fitness training.

Vanessa has also had the privilege of treating ambassadors, executives, and professionals from various cultural backgrounds. These experiences have enriched both her clinical and interpersonal expertise, allowing her to provide highly personalized care while fostering strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Beyond her clinical work, Vanessa is passionate about patient education and preventive healthcare. She has designed and delivered workshops on workplace ergonomics, posture optimization, and injury prevention for office workers, dentists, physicians, and athletes. Since relocating to Canada, she has been inspired by the growing emphasis on body awareness, movement quality, and preventive care, principles she considers essential to long-term health and recovery.

Outside the clinic, Vanessa enjoys an active and balanced lifestyle. A former school table tennis champion, she is passionate about hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, and writing. Raised in a large and supportive family, she learned the value of compassion, resilience, and genuine human connection from an early age. These qualities continue to shape her professional philosophy and contribute to the warm, supportive, and patient-focused environment she strives to create for everyone under her care.

[467,237
253
post-234258","our_team","type-our_team","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","location_category-downtown-ottawa-fr","location_category-st-laurent-blvd-fr","team_category-physiotherapeute","entry
