Laura Mazier graduated with a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and obtained her personal training certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology upon graduation. Shortly after, she obtained her diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario. She has developed her practice around combining both disciplines of Pedorthics and personal training by applying each strategically on a case by case basis. Her philosophy of custom made foot orthotics is that they can be used both as healing devices and also for recalibration of the body. While conducting an assessment of your feet, Laura wants to understand potential sources of your pain and she works to improve the position of your feet in order to gain optimal structure to improve function. Education of the key issues is very important for her patients to gain an understanding of how they can help themselves beyond orthotics. By working with and educating on the importance of soft tissue maintenance, it is the goal that each individual can have the opportunity to strengthen the body\u2019s structures and make the body work more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her mission in life is to evoke the love of being active and living life to the fullest from everyone she encounters.
