Caitlin est une physioth\u00e9rapeute gradu\u00e9e du programme de ma\u00eetrise en physioth\u00e9rapie au sein de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa en 2022, \u00e0 la suite de la r\u00e9ussite de son baccalaur\u00e9at en kin\u00e9siologie en 2019. Elle a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une passion pour la r\u00e9adaptation d\u00e8s un jeune \u00e2ge en comp\u00e9titionnant dans plusieurs disciplines, telles que la course de ski alpin, le soccer et l\u2019aviron. Elle a d\u00e9couvert la profession de physioth\u00e9rapeute \u00e0 la suite de ses propres blessures sportives et en a fait un but pour sa carri\u00e8re de r\u00eave. Cela lui a permis de comprendre \u00e0 quel point une blessure peut \u00eatre frustrante et de lui donner envie d\u2019aider son prochain \u00e0 pouvoir reprendre les activit\u00e9s qui leur tiennent \u00e0 c\u0153ur, peu importe le niveau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin cherche \u00e0 vraiment comprendre ce qui vous motive, apportant empathie et compassion \u00e0 sa pratique. Elle combine des exercices cibl\u00e9s avec une approche pratique de th\u00e9rapie manuelle. Elle croit fermement en une pratique fond\u00e9e sur des preuves et se tient \u00e0 jour avec les recherches les plus r\u00e9centes. Caitlin est convaincue que l\u2019\u00e9ducation est une source pouvoir et elle s\u2019efforce d\u2019informer et d\u2019impliquer ses patients, en les pla\u00e7ant au c\u0153ur de leur parcours de r\u00e9tablissement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re partie de la formation en Diagnostic et Th\u00e9rapie M\u00e9canique (MDT): Colonne lombaire (The McKenzie Institute Canada) afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer son diagnostic et traitement des douleurs lombaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin reconna\u00eet l’importance de se sentir \u00e0 l’aise pour s\u2019exprimer dans sa langue maternelle. \u00c9tant bilingue et ayant effectu\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes en fran\u00e7ais, elle est ravie d’offrir des traitements aux patients anglophones et francophones!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans ses temps libres, elle adore faire du ski, du v\u00e9lo et jouer au soccer.
